Build your quilting confidence and practice different quilting techniques.
Quilting is my favourite part of making any piece and I am always a little surprised how many people are scared to have a go.
This 3 hour class will encourage you to try a few different quilting styles. You will come to class having prepared 3 simple blocks (instructions will be sent out to you after booking.) You will then quilt these in class, each in a different way. We will have a go at ‘in the ditch’, ‘echo quilting’ and some ‘free motion’
Your blocks can then be made into cushions or bags or wall hangings if you wish. Why not book to come back onto one of my cushion making workshops!
You will need to bring your pre-sewn blocks with you on the day and you will also need wadding and a simple backing fabric for your blocks. All of this can be purchased on the day if you prefer.
