This rather striking block makes a stunning mini quilt to hang up on your wall. It would also work fantastically as an accent cushion on a bed or sofa. You could choose to make more than one block for a larger quilt or a runner.
The pattern uses two techniques to piece together the block. Firstly templates are used to cut the individual shapes and then these are pieced together using foundation piecing. You will need to be comfortable with both of these techniques to complete the block.
