Stunning as a block on its own but amazing to build up a bigger quilt as there are so many opportunities to play with color and contrast. This is a foundation paper pieced block and follows the general rules of foundation piecing. Instructions on the basics of the technique are not included but detailed pointers are given for piecing this specific block for those already familiar with the technique
