Learn the fun of Bargello. Make a block. Quilt it and turn it onto a cushion!
This is classic block and no two are ever the same. Its great fun, as the finished block is always a surprise. You will make a block during the class, quilt it following the lines of the block you have created and then you will learn how to turn this into a lined, zip back cushion. This is a really useful method to turn any block into a cushion. You could also make more blocks and start to build a bargello quilt.
All materials are included for the class. You will pick your pre cut strips for the block when you arrive and you can choose a backing fabric and zip, from the shop, to match.
Skill level - Its beginner friendly with no complicated techniques. You will need to know how to use a sewing machine and a rotary cutter will also help.
The price for the class includes:
12 different fabrics to make the bargello block
fabric for the border and back of your cushion
wadding for the front of the cushion
a continuous zip for the back
use of a Sewing machine
any other equipment, tools and thread needed
instructions on how to complete a block to take away
You will need to supply your own cushion pad

Classes are limited to 4 people so I can give plenty of support to each student.
