Big Block Bag Workshop

Make your own big block bag!  This bag is always a favourite and one that we have had so many class requests for.

IMPORTANT - You need to bring a block or panel with you to make the bag with. The class is 4 hours. This is to sew the bag itself including quilting, making the handles, and adding the pockets. There isn't time to create a patchwork block as well. Why not come along to one of the other workshops we run, like the bargello, planets or vortex, prior to attending this class. Then bring along what you have made and turn it into the feature for this bag. Alternativly you can just sew the bag without a feature panel and use a funky fabric instead. It will still be exactly the same shape and usfulness! 

Four hour class, limited to 4 people so I can give plenty of support to each student.

Skill level - You will need to know how to use a sewing machine and a rotary cutter will also help.

The price for the class includes:

- use of sewing machine and any other tools and thread needed

- all templates needed through out the class

- a copy of the pattern to take a way

The price does not cover fabric. A list of what you need will be sent to you before the class. You can bring this with you on the day or buy it from the shop.

You will also be given a cutting list giving you the chance to cut your pieces before you arrive, giving you more time on the day.
