This beautiful quilt is unusual with its round design. It is a scrap quilt but could also be made with specially chosen fabrics. Its finished size is 46″ across so big enough to fit a lap or the back of a small sofa. You could easily make it smaller by simply adding fewer layers. As you can see from the pictures, I made a matching cushion in this way. It is foundation paper pieced throughout and features a simple spiral quilting design. It is one for the more confident quilter due to the curved seams involved, but for anyone who is familiar with foundation piecing already, this would make a great project to try.
