Circus Tops Sewing Class - Introduction to Foundation Piecing
Circus Tops Sewing Class - Introduction to Foundation Piecing
One of my favourite and most popular quilts - 'Circus Tops'. This is a fantastic introduction the the 'foundation piecing' technique which is my favourate method of piecing quilts. Its also a good one for using up scraps
This is a two hour class held at Love From Beth HQ, Sew Tea & Coffee, 11 Keptie Street, Arbroath, DD11 1RQ
Classes are limited to 4 people so I can give plenty of support to each student.
Skill level - You will need to know how to use a sewing machine and a rotary cutter will also help.
The price for the class includes:
- use of a sewing machine and any other tools and thread needed
- as many foundation paper pattern pieces you use during the class
- a copy of the pattern to take a way
The price does not cover fabric. This is scrap quilt so its great for you to bring your own. I do, of course, have loads in the shop you can buy on the day, including a selection of bolt ends and off cuts and £5 scrap bags
You won't (obviously) have time to make the whole quilt but you should make a good number of blocks to get you started
