An old favourite, the gondola Bakset is so useful and easier to make than it looks.
You will do a bit of wavey quilting and shaping with darts and binding before completing your basket.
The class is suitable for confident beginners. Knowledge of the sewing machine and cutting equipment will be useful. Classes are limited to 4 people so I can give plenty of support to each student.
The workshop is 3 hours long and the machine is provided. You just have to turn up. (You can of course bring your own if you would prefer.)
The price for the class includes:
- use of a sewing machine and any other tools, thread templates etc needed.
- the original love from beth 'gondola' sewing pattern to take away
You will need to supply your own fabric and wadding which you can buy on the day or bring along with you. I will send out a supply list befor the class
